If the GOD Lord’s Willing

If the GOD Lord’s Willing
The lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him (Nahum 1;7)

There’s a line from a barbershop quartet song that goes “If the LORD be willing, and the creek don’t rise.” When the creek rises, and the face of tragedy, the circumstance either drive you to GOD, or drive you away form HIM. When you turn to HIM, you find solace and strength, the kind that David discovered in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4). When you turn away from GOD, you deprive yourself of the real source of help there is. I’ve never quite understood why GOD gets blamed for the consequences of living in a human world.

Its okay to tell GOD how you feel, how crushed you are, and how much you wish something hadn’t  happened. The prophet Habakkuk certainly questioned GOD when HE seemed to be standing aloof and silent disaster struck. But GOD finally answered him. So listen for the answer, and you will learn that GOD is not silent in times of trouble. He’s very much there, speaking to us about the brevity of life and the importance of including HIM in our lives. Sometimes through sorrow, HIS quite voice comes through the loudest.

--this is the message I got from the book of daily bread and I want to share this to everyone because its really beautiful…hehe.. At some point in our life we question God of the terrible things happened in our life. Maybe as human as we are, we can’t really avoid it because I admit I also do…hehe.. But if we think the lessons we learn from those mistakes in our life, we should be thankful because it teaches us to be stronger in this journey of life. And I think we must always remember that GOD will never give us trials that HE knows we can surpass it. And GOD really provides the things we need; HE knows our heart desire before we speak it.
